Latest Message from the Host

We are fast approaching the Sunshine Volleyball Classic National Qualifier and we just want to remind you of some important things to bring with you for check-in at the tournament.

Team check-in is Thursday, March 14th from 4-9pm in the North Hall, Room N220E, of the Orange County Convention Center.  It is very important that you make check-in on Thursday night.  If you require a late check-in, please send an email to sunshine@usav.org for approval.  If you are granted a late check-in you must be checked-in at the Convention Center on Friday March 15th no later than 7:00am for AM waves and 10:00am for PM waves (Room N220E), NO EXCEPTIONS. This may not be convenient but it is not convenient for us to fix the schedule last minute if a team does not show.

11 National Division Team Check-In: Because the 11s Division is only two days of play and doesn’t start until Saturday, March 16th, we are allowing team check in for 11 National on Friday, March 15th from 8am – 2pm. We recommend that clubs check in their 11s Thursday, March 14th, if they have other age divisions participating.

WHAT TO BRING:

1. Roster

You will need to print your Official AES event roster and bring it with you to turn in at check-in. (This is not your Webpoint roster.) Please make sure your rosters are correct and verified before checking in. If you have any issues with your rosters, the system will be open to make changes through Thursday, March 14th. Check that your jersey numbers are correct and everyone is verified. Players must wear the same jersey number throughout the entire event. If there is a verification issue, try to do another USAV Data Import and see if it solves your issue.  If this does not solve the issues, please contact your region office to check on the status of verification. To print your roster, log in to AES, go to ‘Teams’, choose the team you are printing a roster for and click on them, next to 2019 Sunshine Volleyball Classic click on the ‘Print’ under “Print Event Roster” and it will pull up your event roster to print. Since you have the ability to make roster changes up until the time your team checks in, we will charge $25 per each roster addition that is requested at check-in and we will only take cash or check for this.

IMPORTANT ROSTER NOTE: The second referee must be a rostered adult for ALL age divisions.

2. Medical Release Forms

You will need to show a copy of your Notarized Medical Release Forms at check-in.  Please make sure the person checking the team in has copies (electronic or hard copies) with them to show registration staff.

3. Team Practices

Due to conflicts at the Orange County Convention Center there will be NO PRACTICES allowed on Thursday night.

The schedule will be made available through AES early in the week of March 11th  https://www.advancedeventsystems.com/events/17496/divisions
